Offering patients the opportunity to have their original music recorded and produced, Project Playback is a big hit. Special software enables patients to compose their own songs while volunteer professionals provide guidance in the writing and recording process.
With the support of the Society of the Arts in Healthcare/Johnson and Johnson, MOC completed two Project Playbacks at the Rivington House (a skilled nursing facility for people with HIV and AIDS) in New York City. In March 2010, we completed another Project Playback program at Childrens Hospital at Montefiore with the siblings of patients there.
