Musicians On Call is grateful for the support of The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and Spotify with their annual fundraiser. This annual charity event featured a live performance by Certified-Diamond-selling recording artists, Boyz II Men, and an appearance by guest DJ Jerzy. RIAA President and CEO/ MOC Board Chair Mitch Glazier and MOC Board Member Diane Pearson represented Musicians On Call and spoke during the show. The crowd danced to their classic jams like Motownphilly and slowed down for their platinum-selling ballads like End of the Road. The event took place not long after their GRAMMYs memorial performance […]

Being involved with Musicians On Call has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I consider it a great gift to be able to share music and bring smiles to these brave children and their loved ones. It is healing for us all and I can't wait to do it again!
I think all musicians should do this. I think everyone could do it no matter what music genre you play from. You see people in the hospital all the time, you're a visitor. To me, to be a part of their day for a minute is a great experience. This is a day I will never forget.
You can actually see and feel a change when it happens and it is one of my favorite things in the world to be a part of.
I have volunteered for Musicians on Call for the past 13 years because of the incredible one-on-one experiences in hospital rooms when no one other than the patient and I would remember the love that was exchanged.
It's an amazing experience to go into a room to play music for people who are in a situation where they can use music as medicine.
What made me decide to come here today was the invitation from Musicians On Call. I can't even begin to tell you how much I admire and respect the work they do and what an honor it is to be a part of it.
I thank Musicians On Call and the whole fabric of what its about - Me being a musician and being able to participate and knowing this is going on in so many hospital rooms across the country and knowing this is spreading so much love and joy.
I enjoy Musicians On Call because it strips down the performing aspect of music to its most basic function - to share, to heal, to inspire. It's just you and another person sharing an intimate moment that is actually bigger than the both of you.
Music is so healing. Whether you’re in a hospital bed or you’re driving down the road just broken up with your boyfriend, it has such a healing power.
You're just alone in a room that doesn't know anything about you. It's spoken to me truly better than any other musical experience I've had.
It was like a whole different communication and contact thanks to the healing powers of music, and all I had to do was really, do what comes naturally.
Being a part Musicians On Call for our Veterans was one of the most gratifying and joyful experiences I’ve had in my life as a musician. It’s easy to take for granted what we enjoy and do every day, but moments like these are what it’s really all about. The universal language and a magical moment in time.
I’ve had the chance to bring music to children several times through Musicians On Call, and visibly seen how much music lifts their spirits.
There’s nothing like going to see those kids and using the gift that I have and the platform that I have to bring smiles to their faces.
Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans joins Musicians On Call in delivering holiday cheer at Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital in Nashville
Patients at Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt got a special holiday treat when recording artists Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans paid them a visit on Monday, December 23, 2019. Their first stop was Seacrest Studios, where they sang their favorite Christmas songs, took pictures with patients and joined MOC President & CEO Pete Griffin for a holiday edition of the game of I Have/I Have Never. “There’s something that’s just so magical about this time of year, magical about the music that we all grew up listening to,” said Kelsea, “to be able to bring this particular kind […]
As Musicians On Call rounds out its 20th anniversary celebration, we wanted to give a special tribute to the hospital where our Bedside Performance Program was founded. Over 20 years ago, patients gathered in a Memorial Sloan Kettering recreation room to see Wynton Marsalis perform at a special concert hosted by The Kristen Ann Carr Fund. When caregivers requested more music for those who were too ill or unable to attend, Musicians On Call Co-Founders Michael Solomon and Vivek J. Tiwary were inspired with the idea for Musicians On Call, and our Bedside Performance Program was born! Musicians On Call […]
