Musicians On Call was joined by hit recording artist Ingrid Michaelson on Saturday, December 15 to visit patients at Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. Michaelson went room to room and played her ukulele for patients and their families as part of Musicians On Call’s Bedside Performance Program. Warner Music Nashville recording artist Michael Ray joins in the celebration to launch programs that deliver the healing power of music Musicians On Call officially launched its latest weekly Bedside Performance Programs at Sunrise Health System hospitals today in Las Vegas. The programs are made possible through a $150,000 endowment from ACM Lifting Lives®, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music. MOC Launches Expansion In

Musicians On Call launched their expansion into The Brooklyn Hospital today with the help of multi-Platinum recording artist Gavin DeGraw. A longtime MOC supporter, DeGraw performed for patients, families and caregivers in the hospital’s pediatric unit. The patients, families, and staff at Bryn Mawr Hospital were excited for the launch of their own WXPN Musicians On Call program in the cardiac, oncology and maternity units, but got a special unexpected treat when Amos Lee and Mutlu were there for their first Bedside Performance Programs! Highlights from the program include Amos Lee singing his classic, “Sweet Pea” for mothers and their newborns and Mutlu covering “My Cherie Amour” to swooning Nurses. Musicians On Call celebrated its kick-off in Chicago with a special celebration featuring Stoney Creek Records recording artist Lindsay Ell. The event, presented by Genentech, a member of the Roche group, was held at Joe’s Bar on Weed Street and hosted by iHeartRadio’s Big 99.5 Promotions Director and Mid-day On Air Talent, Steve Stewart. Streaming at the Google Fiber office in Nashville, Volunteer Musician Matt Walberg played for the Teammates For Kids Riley ChildLife Zone Indiana for an hour-long set. Patients and staff called in with questions and requests to make the program even more personal. Black River Entertainment and ACM Award winner Kelsea Ballerini joined Musicians On Call to bring the healing power of music to patients at Phoenix Children’s Hospital yesterday. A longtime MOC supporter, Ballerini performed for patients, families and caregivers in the hospital’s Zone area before visiting with patients who were unable to make it to the lobby.
