Chicago Rocks Times Square for the Healing Power of Music

April 23rd was a night Chicago fans in New York City will not soon forget. In a room of approximately 300 fans at the Hard Rock Cafe, the legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band put on an intimate and rocking show filled with hits from their 50+ years in music. From “Saturday In The Park,” to “You’re the Inspiration” and “25 or 6 to 4,” fans were on their feet singing along to every song during the 2-hour show. And it was all in support of Musicians On Call.

One lucky fan brought the house down when he joined the band on stage for an impressive performance of “If You Leave Me Now,” and two others, including multi-GRAMMY Award winner Dionne Warwick, were the winning live auction bidders for autographed guitars signed that night by every member of the band. The concert was hosted by iHeartRadio’s Ken Dashow and raised more than $100,000 for Musicians On Call’s programs delivering the healing power of music across the country.

Chicago has been a proud supporter of Musicians On Call for over a decade. The band has performed at a number of benefit shows for the organization in the past, and has provided merch and fan experiences for special auctions to raise money for MOC’s programs.
