Musicians On Call has launched in the windy city! As part of the launch celebration, Country singer Michael Ray visited Chicago Methodist Senior Services (CMSS) to perform for residents as a part of the Bedside Performance Program.
We are looking for Volunteer Guides and Volunteer Musicians to help us deliver the healing power of music in Chicago. As a volunteer with Musicians On Call, you can brighten the days of patients – a truly rewarding experience.
Volunteer Guides escort Volunteer Musicians bed to bed and room to room as they perform for patients. Volunteers must commit to volunteering one visit each month for at least one year. All volunteers must fulfill Musicians On Call’s training process, which includes an application, orientation and quiz. Volunteers Guides will need to complete additional clearances from the hospital including a hospital orientation and health screening.
As we continue to expand in Chicago, financial support is needed. You can help support our program in Chicago and expand to more facilities in the Chicago area by making a gift or starting a fundraising page with your community. Because Musicians On Call is a nonprofit organization, we rely upon the incredible generosity of supporters like you!
