Volunteer Musician Writes Song About Her Experience Delivering the Healing Power Of Music

Mira Goto, a Volunteer Musician in San Jose, wants to share her experience delivering the healing power of music to patients near her. Of course, she told her story in the way we know best – through song!

At Musicians On Call, we believe that one song has the power to transform lives, even if just for a moment. This song can highlight the magic that can be experienced through the Bedside Performance Program.

When asked why she wanted to volunteer for Musicians On Call, here’s what Mira had to say:

I was actually pre-nursing in school. I always wanted to help people, and work in a hospital. While I decided to build a career in music instead, I feel this is a way I can do both: play music and help people. It is a blessing to be trusted to share the healing power of music.
