What is your occupation outside of MOC? Live looping artist at Steve Beyer Productions Las Vegas
Do you have any hidden talents? I can break 80 on the links when the stars align just right!
What is your story? What connects you with music and why do you volunteer with MOC? I’m from Arkansas and I’ve been in Las Vegas for 13yrs. I’m a good ole southern gentlemen and I choose to bring sunshine to everyone I meet. (plenty of clouds in the world) I’ve been performing for family and friends since I was a kid. I just signed with my first talent agency after 25yrs of playing on my own. I’m starting to turn the corner on the life I’ve always dreamed of: MUSIC 24/7! I love to bring joy to every one that I can, so MOC was a great fit! Once I got involved, I found out how wonderful MOC really is.
What makes MOC different from your other volunteer experiences? Music is the best medicine and bringing joy to patients in their rooms is the ultimate honor. MOC is my first volunteer experience and I LOVE IT!
Has your life changed because of your experience with MOC? I feel so blessed when I get to share my music with patients in need. It’s very humbling and there is no paycheck in the world that can compare.
What is your favorite #MOCmoment? I love it when a patient is not sure if they really want a song in their room and then they are SO HAPPY when we start jamming! The smiles and the tears are life changing.
