Do you volunteer at a specific hospital? I volunteer at NYU Medical Center.
How long have you been volunteering with Musicians On Call? I interned in the MOC NY office during the summer of 2014. I have been a guide since about January of 2017.

What is your profession outside of MOC? Senior Digital Account Manager for Entertainment & Emerging Consumer Brands at Warner Media
Do you have any hidden talents? Unfortunately, I can not say I do.
What is your story? What connects you with music and why do you volunteer with MOC? Although I am not a musician, I really appreciate music and it is a part of my every day. I listen to music almost every chance I get – walking around the city, focusing at work, going out with friends, traveling, etc. It is something that can connect everyone and can be used to put one’s mind at ease. Through MOC I have seen music bring joy to so many people no matter where they are from, what language they speak, or how old they are.
What makes MOC different from your other volunteer experiences? Although MOC is growing and expanding throughout the country, as a volunteer, I still feel like I am a part of a close-knit community. I have gotten to know almost all of the employees and many of the volunteer musicians. MOC’s mission is one of a kind, and the organization really appreciates all of its volunteers.
Has your life changed because of your experience with Musicians On Call? Yes, in a way it has. It is a good feeling to have a commitment outside of work to something you are proud of and find joy in.
What is your favorite #MOCmoment? One of my favorite #MOCmoments was in Nashville when one of the musicians sang for a woman who was having a really bad day. The patient did not request any specific song, but when the Musician started singing the woman cried tears of joy saying that she always listens to that song with her daughter when they drive around in the car together. It reminded her of happy times.
