Do you volunteer at a specific hospital? UCLA Santa Monica

How long have you been volunteering with Musicians On Call?  Two years

Are you a Volunteer Guide or Volunteer Musician? Guide

What is your occupation outside of MOC? “Project Manager – GRAMMY Museum Foundation

What is your story? What connects you with music and why do you volunteer with MOC?I’ve been playing music my whole life, and work in the music business at the GRAMMY Museum Foundation. I specifically run programs for high school students, and I love being able to make a difference in their lives, and wanted to transfer that passion over to the hospitals.

What is your favorite #MOCmoment? My favorite #MOCmoment has got to be the time we played for a patient who requested mariachi music. The musician played the closest thing they knew, and the patient started to run around the floor and eventually came back with a flower for the musician that he stole from the nurse’s station vase of flowers. I have tons of these stories that I save on my phone from each session, but this one definitely sticks out as one of my favorites.
