What is your story? What connects you with music and why do you volunteer with MOC? After 30 years as a surgeon, I have seen the healing power of music.
What makes MOC different from your other volunteer experiences? Opportunity for one on one contact with patients and families. Many intimate shared moments.
Has your life changed because of your experience with MOC? Yes. Renewed my passion for music and volunteer service
What is your favorite #MOCmoment? Watching a nonverbal stroke patient sing along with a musician because music touched a part of his brain not damaged by the stroke.
