“iHeartRadio Concerts For The Community Presented By Ally” Benefit the Healing Power of Music

This summer iHeartMedia and Ally hosted “iHeartRadio Concerts For The Community Presented By Ally” – a virtual concert series benefiting Musicians On Call. The three-part concert series featured performances by Andy Grammer, Aloe Blacc and Julia Michaels. As part of the series, each artist surprised caregivers around the country with a virtual meet & greet and performance as a token of appreciation for their work on the frontlines.

In addition to the virtual performances, iHeartMedia and Ally helped bring the gift of music to dedicated healthcare heroes who have been staffing hospitals nationwide during the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of the program, Ally committed to fund the delivery of up to 5,000 virtual eCards to frontline workers nationwide. Each card featured an inspiring and uplifting video recorded by Musicians On Call’s Volunteer Musicians.

Watch these heartfelt performances below:

Andy Grammer surprised caregivers at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas. They shared with him their experiences working in the ER and held hands while they enjoyed a special dedication of Andy’s song “Don’t Give Up On Me.”

The dedicated healthcare workers at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans enjoyed a special performance by hitmaker Aloe Blacc. He asked them questions about working in the hospital during the pandemic and gave a personal performance of his hit song “Wake Me Up.”

The healthcare team at Phoenix Children’s Hospital knows the impact music can have in a hospital environment. They had the chance to enjoy the benefits of live music with a surprise performance by Julia Michaels. The caregivers talked about what it’s been like to battle the pandemic in the hospital and Julia shared an emotional thank you and exclusive performance of her song “Issues.”
