MOC Featured In The Wall Street Journal

We’re in print! Musicians On Call has had the honor of being featured in The Wall Street Journal‘s “Work In Progress” section.

The article, titled, “Bringing Live Music’s Power to Hospital Rooms,” discusses our impressive growth over the years, from our beginnings with Co-Founders Michael Solomon and Vivek Tiwary to expanding from 15 to 26 cities in our last three years. Below is a segment from the article:

“Live music can have a dramatic effect on an otherwise somber hospital room. “I’ve seen people who weren’t able to really move get out of bed and start dancing,” says Pete Griffin, the organization’s president. “I’ve been in rooms with children where afterward, their parents come to me and say, ‘That’s the first time my daughter has smiled in three weeks.”
