Musicians On Call has received a $150,000 grant from ACM Lifting Lives®, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music, to bring its Bedside Performance Program to patients, families and caregivers in Las Vegas. This will be the first ongoing Musicians On Call programming taking place in Las Vegas at Sunrise Health System hospitals.
We are looking for Volunteer Guides and Volunteer Musicians to help us deliver the healing power of music in Las Vegas. As a volunteer with Musicians On Call, you can brighten the days of patients – a truly rewarding experience.
Volunteer Guides escort Volunteer Musicians bed to bed and room to room as they perform for patients. Volunteers must commit to volunteering one visit each month for at least one year. All volunteers must fulfill Musicians On Call’s training process, which includes an application, orientation and quiz. Volunteers Guides will need to complete additional clearances from the hospital including a hospital orientation and health screening.
As we continue to expand in Las Vegas, financial support is needed. You can help support our program in Las Vegas and expand to more facilities in the Las Vegas area by making a gift or starting a fundraising page with your community. We are looking for Volunteer Guides and Volunteer Musicians to help us deliver the healing power of music in New Orleans. As a volunteer with Musicians On Call, you can brighten the days of patients – a truly rewarding experience.

Musicians On Call launched the Washington, DC branch in 2011. MOC’s first initiative is to bring our weekly Bedside Performance Program to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Children’s National Medical System, Washington DC Veterans Medical Center, Baltimore VA Medical Center and the Virginia Hospital Center.

Musicians On Call launched its Miami branch in September 2009. Miami is MOC’s second national chapter and there are bedside performance programs at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, South Miami Hospital and Holtz Children’s Hospital at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center.
