Phoenix Marks the 19th City Where Musicians On Call Is Spreading The Healing Power of Music; Has Performed for Over Half A Million Patients, Families and Caregivers.
Musicians On Call has launched their program in Phoenix, AZ with the help of multi-Platinum selling band Daughtry, who performed for Veterans at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center. This is the 19th city where Musicians On Call has brought its Bedside Performance Program, this time in partnership with GE Healthcare.
To celebrate the new city launch, Daughtry, who just released their first greatest hits record entitled It’s Not Over…The Hits So Far that includes the single “Torches,” performed acoustically for patients and staff. Following the performance, Daughtry visited patients who were unable to make it to the group performance. That evening, Daughtry took the stage at “Centricity-LIVE” GE Healthcare’s annual software users conference for 2,500 of its customers and staff, where Daughtry recounted their experience delivering the healing power of music.
“I am so proud to work with GE Healthcare in partnering with Musicians On Call. Meeting Veterans who have given their time and lives for our country is such an honor,” said Daughtry. “Thank you to Musicians On Call for working to deliver the healing power of music.”
“Helping healthcare providers improve outcomes is central to GE Healthcare’s business strategy,” said Justin Steinman, chief marketing officer, GE Healthcare Digital. “Musicians On Call shares a similar commitment to helping patients, staff and family members and GE Healthcare is pleased to support its launch in Phoenix.”
“Musicians On Call has received such enthusiastic support from the Phoenix community and we’re proud to bring our Bedside Performance Program to the Veterans here,” said Pete Griffin, Musicians On Call President. “Thanks to the support from GE Healthcare and Daughtry, we can deliver the healing power of music to more Veterans and patients in need in Arizona.”
