Charles Esten, Lee Brice & Jerrod Niemann Honor Caregivers With Writers’ Round
In celebration of National Hospital Week, MOC hosted its third annual Concert for Caregivers in gratitude for their daily sacrifices for the health and well-being of their communities. The intimate, private concert at Analog at Hutton Hotel featured award-winning artists and hit songwriters Charles Esten, Lee Brice and Jerrod Niemann.
The evening began with a generous $5,000 contribution to MOC from a healthcare executive as a gesture of appreciation to healthcare professionals. It was touching since the concert was not organized to fundraise, but to thank and honor them for their commitment and service.
Middle Tennessee caregivers were treated to an evening of song and stories from the artists. They heard songs like “Candlelight,” “Hard to Love,” and “Lover, Lover,” which had everyone singing along. A highlight of the evening came when Lee Brice performed “I Drive Your Truck,” which moved many to tears. The night wrapped up with all three artists taking a group photo with the caregivers.
MOC received heartfelt messages from healthcare workers who attended the Concert for Caregivers, expressing their gratitude for the unforgettable evening. One attendee, Julie, shared, “Chip Esten is the absolute BEST, and his generosity for our entire community just seems endless!” These messages highlight the impact of the event on those who dedicate their lives to caring for others.
A live recording of Concert for Caregivers experience was distributed this week to healthcare workers across the nation who weren’t present and as a gesture of appreciation from MOC.
