Chris Janson Helps Kick Off Pilot Bedside Performance Programs In San Jose

On Thursday, November 29, Musicians On Call and Warner Music Nashville’s rising superstar and 3-time CMA nominee Chris Janson visited patients at their bedsides at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. This visit was Janson’s first opportunity to play for patients in local healthcare facilities and experience the healing power of music through MOC’s Bedside Performance Program, and the first program of its kind to happen in the San Jose area.

MOC is preparing to launch its first Bedside Performance Program in San Jose thanks to financial support from the Valley Medical Center Foundation and Good Samaritan Health Systems. Janson’s visit is an example of the programs that will be held regularly at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and Good Samaritan. Both facilities share a strong commitment to improving the patient experience and the Bedside Performance Program will enable them to bring joy through music on an ongoing basis. They will be the first San Jose-area hospitals to offer this program to their patients, families and caregivers.
