Musicians On Call Celebrates National Salute to Veteran Patients Week

In honor of National Salute to Veteran Patients Week, Musicians On Call is adding a new program at the New Orleans VA Medical Center! This addition expands our reach to 13 VA facilities across the country that our volunteers regularly visit with our Bedside Performance Program.

National Salute to Veteran Patients Week is an opportunity to pay tribute to the men and women who have dedicated their time to protecting our nation and now need our help at VA facilities across the United States. According to the Department of Veteran Affairs, over 98,000 Veterans of the U.S. armed services are treated in VA medical facilities, outpatient clinics, domiciliary sites, and community living centers.

Musicians On Call is proud to offer its Bedside Performance Programs to our nation’s hospitalized Veterans. To date, MOC has reached more than 70,000 Veteran patients, families and VA hospital caregivers since we started serving our first VA facility in 2009.
