Musicians On Call Featured on the TODAY Show

As Musicians On Call rounds out its 20th anniversary celebration, we wanted to give a special tribute to the hospital where our Bedside Performance Program was founded.

Over 20 years ago, patients gathered in a Memorial Sloan Kettering recreation room to see Wynton Marsalis perform at a special concert hosted by The Kristen Ann Carr Fund. When caregivers requested more music for those who were too ill or unable to attend, Musicians On Call Co-Founders Michael Solomon and Vivek J. Tiwary were inspired with the idea for Musicians On Call, and our Bedside Performance Program was born!

Musicians On Call celebrated this milestone at Memorial Sloan Kettering with a holiday concert. The TODAY Show was there to spotlight the concert with Multi-Platinum Recording Artist Ingrid Michaelson.
