Menudo Brings World Music Day To Patient Bedsides

Legendary Latino boy band, Menudo, recently volunteered with Musicians On Call for their first ever shift. The band sang their way from bedsides to nurses stations at Holtz Children’s Hospital in Miami, and got caregivers, patients and families dancing along to their joyful tunes. The visit also coincided with World Music Day on June 21st, a day dedicated to celebrating and creating music all around the world.

“Music gives patients their normalcy back. All of the sudden they’re not a patient in a hospital anymore, they’re just a kid who’s enjoying music for the day.” -Stephanie Epstein, Holtz Children’s Hospital

You can be a part of bringing more visits like this to patients all over the country. Consider becoming a member of our Backstage Pass Club today.
