Do you have any hidden talents? I can do some pretty good impressions
What is your story? What connects you with music and why do you volunteer with MOC? I come a very musical family. Many people in my family play music so I’ve grown up around all differ types of music. Even though I don’t play an instrument, I have a huge appreciation for musicians and what they do. I’m an avid concert and local show goer and I love being around music. Being a guide for Musicians on Call seemed like a perfect opportunity for someone like me.
What makes MOC different from your other volunteer experiences? It’s a fun volunteer experience that doesn’t feel like work.
Has your life changed because of your experience with Musicians On Call? Yes. I love seeing the magic of music lift people’s spirits. It’s honor to be able to volunteer with an organization like this.
What is your favorite #MOCmoment? There’s so many. I would say when there was man who was nonverbal, clapping and dancing along. The smile on his face was so big and it was really cool to see him respond to music that way.
