MOC makes waves in The Sunshine State!

Our MOC Bedside program is now bringing the healing power of music to patients in both Tampa and Orlando, thanks to incredible partners at HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital, UCF Lake Nona Hospital, and HCA Florida Osceola Hospital.

Country star Michael Ray helped launch our Tampa program at HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital during a celebration event with hospital staff, caregivers and leadership. Michael also visited patients’ bedsides and brought tears of joy and special connections with loved ones through his music.

Brent Smith and Zach Myers of Shinedown kicked things off in Orlando with a celebration at UCK Lake Nona Hospital. Before going room to room to perform for patients, Brent and Zach made a special presentation of their own to Musicians On Call. They announced that they were donating $300,000 to MOC from proceeds from their Dance, Kid, Dance Tour!

Both hospitals were also presented a commemorative Gibson Guitar in honor of the partnership.
