Vinylly selects Musicians On Call as official nonprofit charity

Newly released dating app Vinylly pairs users together based on their music compatibility, using their music streaming data and musical tastes to find their perfect match. Vinylly not only believes that the music we love and the way we listen to it is a powerful window into who we are, they also believe in the healing benefits music provides. For this reason, Vinylly chose Musicians On Call as its official nonprofit charity and will provide support for MOC’s work in sharing live and recorded music with patients, families and caregivers nationwide.

Vinylly profiles are paired with users’ music streaming accounts, and as they stream more music, the app sends more matches.

“Vinylly has the ability to match people on a deeper level through something powerful that they share,” said Rachel Van Nortwick, Vinylly creator. “A positive during this time is that so many artists are dropping new music or performing live from home, and this platform allows users to share in those together.”
