Zoom Recognizes Musicians On Call Among Top 15 Organizations Innovatively Using Video Conferencing Technology

During Zoom’s annual user conference Zoomtopia, the video conferencing giant recognized the creative and unique ways customers are using the platform through the 2020 Innovation Awards. Honorees were chosen for exemplifying innovation, inspiration and creativity in using Zoom solutions. Musicians On Call is thrilled to be recognized among the top 15 organizations in the world by receiving an honorable mention for our use of Zoom in our Virtual Bedside Performance Program!

We are proud to be honored alongside other innovative companies and organizations including Kaiser Permanente, Children’s Cancer Research Fund and OneSchool Global to name a few.

“With 300 million people using Zoom every day to conduct business and connect with loved ones, for Musicians On Call to be recognized as an innovator in the space is an incredible accomplishment for our team and our programs! Music’s healing qualities are needed now more than ever and thanks to Zoom’s technology MOC has been able to continue delivering the healing power of music to thousands of patients and caregivers across the country at a time when they need it the most,” said Musicians On Call President & CEO Pete Griffin.

Using digital platforms including Zoom and YouTube, MOC has significantly expanded the Virtual Bedside Performance Program and increased its frequency to thirty programs every month. More than 75,000 patients, families and caregivers have experienced the healing power of music virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this technology, in 2020 Musicians On Call could perform for more people in a single year than in any previous year in our history!
