A World Filled with the Healing Power of Music

Music is the universal language. This week we recognized World Music Day, an annual celebration of all forms of music and their impact on people around the world.

Musicians On Call’s Programa Virtual en Español has been connecting Spanish-speaking volunteers and patients virtually to share stories and music. MOC Board Member Michelle Klinger reunited with Latin music performers Elsten Torres and Eduardo Osorio, who were among the first volunteers to deliver live music to the bedsides of patients in Miami.

Together they reminisced about the songs that connected them to the hearts of the patients they met, including their appearance promoting MOC’s mission on Univision’s longest-running television program Sȧbado Gigante.

Hear them share their memories and receive a special surprise in this exclusive interview:

No matter the language one thing is certain, music heals. Join us in bringing the healing power of music to patients by becoming a member of the Backstage Pass Club today.
