What Virtual Program do you volunteer with? I volunteer for the Nashville Program

How long have you been volunteering with Musicians On Call? I’ve been volunteering since February 2018!

Are you a volunteer guide or musician? Guide

What is your occupation outside of MOC? I’m the Head of Tour Development at Warner Music Nashville

Do you have any hidden talents? I’ve perfected homemade Kombucha, am an avid scuba diver, and know all the best waterfall hikes to hit in Tennessee!

What is your story? What connects you with music and why do you volunteer with MOC? My Pop-Pop was, and remains, my biggest inspiration for joining MOC. I had the opportunity to shadow a MOC Guide/Musician at Sarah Cannon Cancer Center in the Fall of 2017 through a Warner Music Nashville volunteer day. At the time, my Pop-Pop was very sick with prostate cancer. I saw him, and his spirit, in every patient I met that day and was immediately moved–I knew that I had to be part of the organization. After putting up a strong fight, my Pop-Pop passed away due to his cancer in November 2018. By volunteering with MOC, I not only get to help bring joy and healing music to others, but I’m also able to honor my Pop-Pop and keep his spirit alive.
